This series is a collection of images from my childhood neighborhood that I photographed while I was in high school. They highlight the prominent figures, spaces, and feelings from that particular time in my life, and thus hold great importance to me. Although they were not initially photographed to go together, I feel strongly looking on them that they hold some kind of mystery and subtle energy that only surfaces when viewed as one series. They are a wistful and nostalgic recounting of my youth through the visions I saw fit to capture at that time in my life, and they present the magic, uncertainty, and secrecy of teenhood.
